Now, the Liverpool target who made an impressive 51 appearances last season has reportedly put contract negotiations with Leicester City on hold.
Liverpool are being credited with an interest in the Belgian midfielder, as a possible replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.
According to Eurosport , Leicester want to tie Tielemans down to a new deal, but the player has put talks on hold until later in the summer.
The report goes on to say Tielemans is weighing up his options and waiting until Belgium’s participation in this summer’s European Championships are over to make a decision on his future.
