Liverpool star Harvey Elliott has taken brutal dig at Man Utd after being taunted over injury
Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott has taken aim at
Manchester United ’s trophy cabinet for the past eight years after a fan taunted him over the horror injury he suffered against Leeds United.
Up until Sunday afternoon, Elliott had been enjoying a breakthrough season at Anfield, featuring in all four of their Premier League games to date.
His rapid progress was brought to a halt on Sunday, however, when Struijk’s challenge left him with a dislocated ankle.
One United fan took aim at the youngster on TikTok,
commenting: “He’s not walking like that anymore.”
Elliott who has been vocal on social media since the dramatic incident which led to a controversial red card for Pascal Struijk, responded: "Crazy though how I have more legs than United have trophies over the past eight years."
