Liverpool will pay double of Raphinha's market price

A Brazilian football agent has provided his view on what Liverpool may have to pay to sign Leeds United Raphinha

The Brazil international was linked with the Reds in the summer, though a deal failed to materialise.

Currently valued at £28.8m, according to transfermarkt, Raphinha's agent has been left puzzled at this figure.

Deco, the former Barcelona midfielder who now represents Raphinha, said: “I don’t know how they do it. To be honest, I don’t understand Transfermarkt’s evaluations.

"I think now it should go up," he told UOL .

Brazilian agent Eduardo Uram has also weighed in on the debate, stating: "I think today he’s worth more than €32m (£28.8m).

"What will determine the price is the level of the club that signs him. If it’s Manchester United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, the price could reach around €60m (£50.6m). What determines the price of a player is the market he hits."
