Former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes Liverpool could dodge a transfer move for Raphinha in favour of recruiting Jarrod Bowen
Liverpool continue to be linked with both Premier League rival stars but Bowen is believed to be the player admired by Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp.
Providing his take on why opting to target Bowen could be the Reds' best option, Campbell told Football Insider : "They're not going to be the only team in for Raphinha. The likes of Bayern Munich are hot on him, so that won't be a gimmie.
"Jarrod Bowen is a sensational player. He can play on both sides and through the middle. That could give him the edge in Jurgen Klopp's thinking – we know how much he loves that fluidity.
"Raphinha is brilliant, but they'll face so much opposition. For that reason, Bowen could be more ideal."
