Transfer deadline: Liverpool's plan B for Mohamed Salah amid contract tussle

Liverpool have plans to allow Mohamed Salah leave in the summer

With just a year and less than six months left in his Anfield contract, Salah appeared next in line in a row of Liverpool stars who have waved goodbye to the Merseyside Club in the past.

Salah is yet to agree a new contract with Liverpool and his continuation with the club has now been thrown into doubt having stated his desire to taste football outside Anfield.

Should the Egyptian leave it would land a blow to scores of Liverpool fans who have watched him propelled the club to remarkable successes in the past four years of his stay.

But his exit wouldn't be what to worry about for the Reds, with plans to bring Paris Saint Germain's Kylian Mbappe already on ground.

PSG are already on their toes over Kylian Mbappe's contract which lapses in the end of June and the Parisian club know they're on the brink of losing the 23-year-old for free in the summer.

Lfc rumour understands that Liverpool have plans to land Mbappe for free in the summer and hand Mohamed Salah the freedom to decide his next club.

PSG are also among the number of clubs interested in Mo Salah and would be ready to take chances when they lose their 23-year-old starman.
