Luis Diaz has sent a message to Liverpool fans after completing his £50m transfer from FC Porto
The completion of the 25-year-old Colombian's move to Anfield was confirmed on Sunday with Liverpool making their move in the closing stages of the January transfer window to bring the highly-rated winger to Merseyside.
In a short video released on the Reds official social media channels, Diaz, who has scored seven goals in 31 appearances for his country, spoke for the first time.
"I am very happy to have signed for Liverpool", he said.
The Colombia international is now expected to be available for the Reds when they welcome Cardiff City to Anfield in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, February 6.
