Liverpool told games that could further cost them Premier League title after Man City draw

Manchester City remained a point clear of Liverpool after the Sunday evening showdown at the Etihad

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has told his former club Liverpool that it is their away games that will determine who lifts the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.

The Reds drew 2-2 at Manchester City on Sunday evening which meant that Pep Guardiola's side remained at the top of the table by just a point. With City taking the lead twice, through Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus, the draw will certainly be a pleasing one for the visitors.

With seven games left to finish the season, neutrals are strapping themselves in for a grand slam end to the campaign. Carragher has highlighted that he thinks it will be the matches that both teams have to play away from home that'll make the difference at the end of the campaign.

He tweeted: "Draw was a better point in the end for Liverpool as Man City should have won. I think the away games both teams have will decide the title as I can see a draw or two along the way!"

Liverpool have away games against Newcastle, Aston Villa, whereas City need to travel to Wolves, Leeds and West Ham.
