Diogo Jota could earn Wolves a transfer windfall from Liverpool's pocket

Jota joined the Reds from Wolves in a deal worth up to £45million back in 2020. But the Midlands club received just £4m up front, while the rest of the fee relying on bonus payments and instalments.

The Daily Mail claims that the Merseyside club has paid a further £13m to Wolves in instalments and another payment will be due if Jota wins his first league title this weekend. Wolves however, also have an incentive to try and beat Jurgen Klopp's side. Currently in eighth, Wolves will gain an extra £2.2m in prize money if they maintain their current position, though they will have to battle with Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion who sit just a couple of points adrift of the top-eight.
