Monaco are looking to use part of the £85m raised from the sale of midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to sign Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino
A report in The Times claims the Ligue 1 outfit currently lead the race for the Japan international, who is free to leave Anfield this summer after two-and-a-half years with the club. Minamino is believed to be valued at £17 million by the Reds.
Monaco star midfielder Tchouameni joined Champions League winners Real Madrid in a £85m some few days ago despite interest from Liverpool and PSG. The France outfit are now confident of winning a bidding war against the number of English sides including Wolves, Leeds and Southampton who are also interested in Minamino this summer.
