Jude Bellingham to Liverpool transfer this summer seems impossible but the Reds would have a real gem in Nunes

Liverpool keen on Matheus Nunes transfer

According to an Insider Jurgen Klopp will have a change of mind in signing a midfielder this summer as they target Matheus Nunes.

The Merseyside club had initially missed out on French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni who opted for Real Madrid move earlier this transfer window.

Attempt to sign Tchouameni earlier on shows there's a likelihood that the Anfield club would land a midfielder before the end of the summer. After the big money move for Darwin Nunez, Liverpool are looking at a signing another quality player for a considerable amount of money that would benefit their spending spree.

Jude Bellingham has been on their wishlist throughout this summer but the huge £100m fee tagged on the England youngster makes it very unlikely that negotiations will commence.

Matheus Nunes who is valued around £51m fits in well for the Reds in their quest to strengthen their midfield.

An intelligent middle player, better footwork and good tenacity on the ball, Nunes is just that quality Jurgen Klopp need to mount a Premier League title challenge next season.

The 23-year-old Portuguese midfielder is also attracting interest from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and it's been gathered that Liverpool are keen on completing a deal before the Premier League Champions gets things done.
