Manchester United new boss Erik ten Hag has helped the Red Devils to two stunning victories against Liverpool this year.
Ajax were draw together with Liverpool, Rangers and Napoli in the Champions League Group A on Thursday.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper now Ajax CEO, Edwin van Der Sar reacting to the draw said: "Maybe we can get some tips from Erik on how he prepared the team so it would be nice to have a little bit of co-operation that way.
"We have lost six players this summer — that’s a lot, and we also have a new coach, but we are still confident we can put together some great performances in the Champions League."
Ten Hag, who joined Manchester United from Ajax this summer, orchestrated Liverpool's demise on Monday, recording his first Premier League win after two consecutive defeats.
