Defender Jurrien Timber is looking forward to a revenge against Darwin Nunez after what the Liverpool striker did last season
Defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax has claimed that he can’t wait to face Liverpool's new boy Darwin Nunez in the Champions League this season.
After the draw for the Group Stage yesterday, Timber says he wants to settle the score with the former Benfica man. Nunez knocked Ajax out of last season’s campaign with a goal.
Timber said: “I immediately thought of it [ the goal Nunez scored last season]. The intention is that I will be the boss of him now."
Nunez rocked the Champions League for Benfica last year. Hopefully, he'll do the same while representing Liverpool.
