The England international midfielder is being sought after by a number of elite European clubs, including Liverpool. He has been mostly touted with a move to Anfield.
Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all been linked with moves.
But now, according to the Mirror new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has contacted the midfielder's agent to convince him to join the London Blues.
Boehly is currently in charge of Chelsea's transfer business. He is said to believe they still have enough time to lure Bellingham to London and is not concerned about the manpower that Real Madrid and Liverpool have already invested in transfers.
Bellingham, 19, is considered one of the best young players in Europe after an overwhelming start to his career. The midfielder recently played his 100th game for Borussia Dortmund, excelling in the Bundesliga and Champions League and winning the DFB-Pokal.
