PSV manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has admitted his side could be forced to sell Cody Gakpo in January if a suitable offer emerges.
Gakpo has been in fine form for club and country this season, continuing the impressive form he showed last season.
Speculation has mounted over his future, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United linked with the 23-year-old, with PSV threatening to part ways with their star next month rather than in the summer.
Speaking to Voetbal International, Van Nistelrooy said: "If I have the choice, I prefer the summer, but it can also be now. You just know there comes a time when you can't say no."
