Mbappe has reportedly informed PSG that he will not extend his contract, indicating his intention to leave the club after the expiration of his current deal.

This has created a tense situation between Mbappe and the Ligue one club, with the player refusing to commit his long-term future to the French giants.

According to reports Mbappe is now keen on a move to Anfield where he will experience English football for a season before deciding between the La Liga and the Premier League next summer.

Liverpool are aware of the circumstances, sees it as an opportunity, and may initiate talks with PSG to secure the services of the star forward who's been a long-term admirer of the Merseyside club.

The potential loan deal would benefit all parties involved, allowing Mbappe to join Liverpool temporarily, generating funds for PSG, and providing the 24-year-old with a fresh start away from Paris where he has currently fallen out with his bosses.
