Liverpool could be on the brink of signing Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo
According to Diario AS, the Liverpool transfer team has traveled to Brazil for discussions with the Sao Paulo defender.
It is said that the Reds are capable of paying £20 million for the youngster.
It's not the first time the Reds have been associated with the center-back. Last month, 90min reported that the chiefs on Merseyside took an active interest in the emerging talent.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have also been mooted with moves for the 19-year-old in the past but Liverpool now looked certain to get the deal over the line if recent reports are to be true.
