The Marc Guéhi to Liverpool transfer speculation has intensified following Conor Bradley's devastating knee injury, which has ruled the young right-back out for the rest of the 2025/26 season
Bradley sustained a significant left knee injury during Liverpool's 0-0 draw against Arsenal on January 9. Scans confirmed damage to bone and ligaments (but not an ACL rupture), with surgery scheduled in the coming days and a period of rehabilitation to follow. Liverpool officially confirmed the setback, describing it as "a big blow."
This timing has amplified calls to act decisively in the January transfer window, particularly on long-term target Marc Guéhi. The Crystal Palace and England centre-back (25) was nearly signed by Liverpool last summer for around £35m before the deal collapsed at the 11th hour. His contract expires in summer 2026, making him a free agent target, but Palace could cash in now to avoid losing him for nothing.
Marc Guéhi who has preferred a move to Liverpool or Arsenal over Manchester City is valued by Crystal Palace for £40m this winter. Man City have shown strong interest amid their own defensive woes, but Guéhi's leanings boost Liverpool's position.
