Lyon Manager Bruno Genesio has confirmed Nabil Fekir is leaving this summer

Fekir have been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks with report claiming an agreement has been reach for the star.

Fekir will be preparing for a busy summer as he was included in France's World Cup squad on Thursday evening.

Lyon secured a Champions League spot with a 3-2 victory over OG Nice on Saturday evening which was the last Ligue 1 game to play this term, and the team manager has dropped a huge hint about Fekir's future ahead of the transfer window.

"We have to put aside everything related to emotion. For some, this may be the last game," Genesio told Lyon's official website.

"It must give (those players) even more strength because you have to say: ‘(I will) leave by qualifying this team in the Champions League’.

"There is also the World Cup.

"The very great players are able to ignore all this.

"I think Nabil will play a big match on Saturday."

"I do not think about this at all," he told France Football.

"As I said before, my only priority is to win this match against Nice.

"I am only thinking about this.

"After the match, we’ll see."
