Timo Werner impressed with Liverpool summer move

Liverpool have been linked with move for the German forward for over a year now

Timo Werner is reportedly relishing the prospect that he could be among Jurgen Klopp's Red armies next season.

The Reds were reported to have been eyeing a move for the 23 year old in January with £50million fee on the table.

However RB Leipzig were not open to the idea of letting the striker who has fired in 27 goals in 33 appearances so far this season leave the Red Bulls Arena.

The Club officially stated few weeks ago that Werner is happy at home and doesn't seems to be fancying a move to anywhere far-off — although the Bundesliga club jokingly said the No9 is heading to Tottenham, referring to their Champions League round of 16 tie with the Spurs.

Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Werner for  a longtime now and they're noticeably eager to reach successful terms with Leipzig for the striker at the end of the season.
