Loris Karius 'okays' Jurgen Klopp's decision

The out of favour Liverpool goalkeeper went on another loan spell after returning from his latest

Liverpool's Loris Karius spent a two year loan spell at Besiktas before going a season loan at Union Berlin.

Karius have seen difficult years as a Liverpool goalie following his Champions League final howler against Real Madrid in 2018.

The former Mainz goalkeeper has just returned from a two year loan spell at Besiktas which he had to cut short due to pay issues.

But was again sent into another temporal romp at Union Berlin where he'll remain until next summer.

Speaking about Jurgen Klopp's decision to loan him out once again, the 27-year-old said: "It was always fair and honest. He always tells you what the situation is like.

"We always had a good relationship and never had a problem. His successes speak for themselves.

"He is currently one of the best coaches of the world.

"He said it (the move to Union) is a good step that I have the chance to distinguish myself here and that I can show everyone that I'm a really good one I am a goalkeeper."

There have been speculation that Liverpool will sign Jack Butland as a cover for injured Alisson before Friday's championship transfer deadline.

The Premier League champions have however rubbished such rumour, insisting  they'll keep the faith on second choice goalkeeper Adrian.
