Liverpool holds back interest after contact with player's representatives

According to reports Liverpool have turned  down their interest to sign Turkish defender Ozan Kabak from Schalke

Kabak has been one of Liverpool targets in recent months, with the Merseyside club expected to curtail injury worries from the market.

The Athletic as cited by Inside Futbol claimed that Liverpool had reached out to Kabak’s intermediaries in November over a potential move to Anfield but negotiations never went beyond initial talks as the Reds opted not to sign the player in January.

Kabak, still is expected to leave Schalke this winter but the Reds have now appeared out of contest for the Turk's signature.
