Instagram post shows Coutinho heading back to Liverpool

A Brazilian restaurant in Liverpool has sent football fans on Instagram into a frenzy after posting an intriguing message to Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona in a club-record deal back in January 2018, but has endured a difficult time in Spain as he struggled to recreate his Anfield form.

The Spanish giants tried to sell the 29-year-old in the summer of 2019 but were unable to find a buyer and he ended up spending the season on loan at Bayern Munich.

Given a second chance at Camp Nou by Ronald Koeman last summer, Coutinho started the season well, but has not played since December after rupturing his meniscus.

Reports in Spain have indicated over the last few months that Barca will look to sell Coutinho this summer as new president Joan Laporta plans a squad overhaul.

The Brazilian who recently stated his desire to don the Liverpool shirt once again has also been tentatively linked with a move to Everton this summer.

And now Copacabana Brazilian Rodizio, a Brazilian steak house based in Queens Square, has posted an image of Coutinho on Instagram with a rather interesting caption.

It reads: "We can't wait to welcome you back and start making special memories with you once again. @phil.coutinho #coutinho #liverpool #copacabana."

The Rodizio's Instagram post could mean Coutinho is joining Anfield or Goodison Park soon, but no reliable attestation to that yet.
