Jamie Carragher has named Kevin De Bruyne as the one player he would love to sign for Liverpool
The Belgian midfielder joined City from Wolfsburg in 2015 and has been key to the success of Pep Guardiola's side in recent seasons.
De Bruyne is the one player Carragher would sign above anyone else if given the option to secure his dream signing.
Explaining why this is the case, Carragher told Sky Sports "I just think that Kevin De Bruyne is absolutely sensational.
"I think in that right channel, maybe getting in the way of Trent I don’t know! But I’d say Kevin De Bruyne is the first one that springs to mind.
"I think he’s one of the best players in the world. Certainly in the last two or three years he’s been the best midfield player in the world."
