Mane spent six years at Anfield and was a key cog in every major honour being won by the  Reds during those years.

Forming an incredible partnership with Salah and Roberto Firmino, before the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz were added to the mix by Jurgen Klopp, he's now to be remembered for his contribution to the growth of the club in the recent seasons.

He's brought a five-year competitive partnership , a fierce one truly, with Mo Salah to an end and the later has touched on what a 'ride' it has been as he took to social media to say goodbye to the AFCON winner.

Salah posted on Twitter: "It’s been quite a ride! Thank you for all the good times and I wish you all the best in your new adventure! You will be missed by all of us."

Salah is yet to decide his own future at Anfield same as the case of departing Mane, with Firmino on the same list.

The Egyptian assured the Reds he will complete the remainder of his contract but still to affirm what's next after then.

He said, after the Champions League final against Real Madrid: "I am staying next season for sure, that's clear."
