The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield, attracting further interest from the likes of Manchester City and West Ham - David Moyes admitted this week that the Portugal midfielder turned down an offer to sign for the Hammers.
And last night's strike will have done no harm in making the Lisbon star one of Europe's hottest prospects.
