It has been gathered that Ibrahima Konate is currently struggling with a muscle problem ahead of tomorrow Premier League clash with Man City.
Konate was at the centre of the defence alongside Virgil van Dijk in the Reds' 7-1 Champions League win over Rangers in the midweek, starting the season for the first time.
He however missed Friday's training session with a muscle problem, it has been gathered, and was due to have another check-up on Saturday, putting uncertainty on his squad inclusion against Manchester City in .
Konate muscle issue is however considered secondary, but Liverpool will not take a chance on a player who has only just returned to the field after two months on sidelines with injury.
