Ibrahima Konate has stated that Cody Gakpo already appears to be at home at Liverpool
Gakpo is reportedly in contention to make his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup third round match on Thursday.
Gakpo participated in his first training session as a Liverpool player yesterday, as the squad prepared to face Wolves.
Konate who is expected to pair Joel Matip for the game gave his first impression of the new Liverpool signing after the winger's first day at the Reds training ground.
Speaking to Liverpool official website, Konate said: “I only trained with him [on Thursday] and he’s comfortable, he’s happy to be here,” said the Frenchman. “We are also happy to be with him in this season and we know he did a very great World Cup. I hope he will help us a lot.”
