The Reds continue to be linked with more midfield signings this summer
The current proposal from Brazil is that the Merseyside club will soon offer a £21.5 million fee to Fluminese for midfielder Andre Trindade
Following the second rejection of the offer for Romeo Lavia that took place this week, it was further speculated that a deal has been struck between the two parties for the Belgian.
However there's a report from Sky that Liverpool have initiated talks with Trindade.
And now, the situation must be developing positively as a Brazilian outlet Terra have claimed that a £21.5m have been tabled by the Reds.
Additionally, another Brazilian sports outlet, Globo Esporte, has reported that the Reds' interest in Andre has not been born of the chance of having a lack of interest in Lavia, instead, it has been a scouting process that has been ongoing since 2020.
