Liverpool Announce Major Turkish Airlines Partnership

Liverpool Confirm Turkish Airlines as New Main Club Partner

Liverpool have announced a major change to their commercial structure, with Turkish Airlines set to become the club’s new main club partner from June 1, 2027.

The agreement will see Turkish Airlines replace Standard Chartered as Liverpool’s front-of-shirt sponsor from the beginning of the 2027/28 season. The airline’s branding will appear on the men’s, women’s and Academy match shirts, marking the first change to the club’s main shirt partnership in 17 years.

Standard Chartered, which has been Liverpool’s main club partner since 2010, will remain on the front of the shirt for the entirety of the 2026/27 season before moving into a global partnership role from June 2027. Liverpool described the banking group’s 17-year association with the club as an important part of its recent history.

For Turkish Airlines, the agreement represents a significant expansion of its relationship with Liverpool Football Club.

Chief commercial officer Ben Latty described the agreement as a milestone for the club, while also stressing the significance of the front-of-shirt position. Turkish Airlines CEO Ahmet Olmustur said the partnership brings together two globally recognised organisations with an emphasis on international reach and connecting people and communities.

Financial details for this deal is yet to be officially disclosed. The Times reports that the five-year agreement is worth more than £300 million in total, exceeding £60 million per season, which would make it one of the most valuable front-of-shirt sponsorship agreements in Premier League history if confirmed true.
