Liverpool have received boost to sign Christian Pulisic as Borussia Dortmund refuse to sell player to Chelsea
Pulisic who has just one year left on his deal with the Bundesliga club is showing no sign of agreeing fresh terms.
The 19-year-old was linked with move to Anfield weeks ago but, earlier, Chelsea were reportedly eager to land him.
According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund had intent to sell the USA international this summer but have been unable to recruit a replacement.
It means Pulisic may not quit the Bundesliga this summer and any attempt to negotiate for the player will be put on hold.
On the claim made by the Daily Mail Liverpool is now boosted to re-enter bargain in January, or attempt to agree a deal that will see Pulisic agree to join next summer.
