Jamie Carragher blasts 'overrated' Paul Pogba and gives Erling Haaland warning

Liverpool have been handed a warning over a potential move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland by Jamie Carragher

The Premier  League champions have been linked with the hotshot Norwegian forward who they faced in the Champions League last season when he was with Salzburg.

Haaland has since blossomed into one of Europe's top goalgetters since moving to Borussia  Dortmund from Austria.

The 20-year-old is managed by high-profile agent Mino Raiola, who also looks after Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba, who revealed on Monday evening that the player is unhappy at Old Trafford and wants to leave the club.

Raiola reportedly suggested the 27-year-old Frenchman will be sold at the next available opportunity, which is the January transfer window, adding it would be best for all parties involved.

With the news breaking on the eve of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's crucial Champions League clash at RB Leipzig on Tuesday, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher ripped into Pogba and his agent on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football show and said United must get rid of him

The Mirror report that Carragher said: "I've been saying this for 12 months, oh my God, he is the most overrated player I've ever seen in my life.

"I think the two of them are a disgrace. We'll all blame the agent now and say 'ask Pogba', what does he think?

"Agents in this day and age, they're not just agents. They're a parent, they're a best friend, they're the financial advisor, they book holidays, they go away together.

"Those two will be like that. He'll be Pogba's best mate, so Pogba will be well aware of what was going to come out of his mouth.

"If he wasn't, he should sack his agent. It's very, very simple. That's all that needs to happen.

"I don't know where he's going to go, who is going to have him?"
