Liverpool return to the Champions League tonight against Real Madrid. The Reds host the La Liga giants in the first leg of the last 16 at Anfield tonight. They will be looking to gain edge over the visitors going into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on March 15.

The  Reds go into tonight's game after beating Newcastle United in the Premier League at the weekend. Real Madrid also celebrated on Saturday, beating Osasuna 2-0 in the Spanish top flight.

Arthur Melo will not feature tonight, although the midfielder returns to training. The Brazilian was not included in Liverpool's 25-man squad, which was confirmed earlier this month.

Darwin Nunez has a sore shoulder in the win over Newcastle and will be available tonight however Klopp still has to make a last decision if he will be rested.
